Lectures

Please prepare a lecture for the students (focus on master’s and PhD students in Physics and Engineering). The lecture should teach important lessons. The duration of the lecture will be 30 minutes with an additional 10 min for questions.

Lecturers are welcome to use the provided computer, which supports slides in PPT, PPTX, and PDF formats. We ask that you upload your lecture material to this link: ITSS-TSaT 2024 Lectures , one day before your lecture. The uploaded presentations will be used during the summer school and made available to students for one year afterwards.

Additionally, we would like to record the lectures for learning purposes. If you do not wish to make the recording available to students after the summer school, please let us know. If your presentation includes any sensitive information, we can stop recording during those sections.

Poster presentations for students

To prepare a poster is mandatory for all students and PhD candidates. PostDocs are encouraged to present their work during the poster session if they are not giving a lecture. This will help us get to know each other better and foster stronger connections.

Please use an A1-size poster in portrait orientation to present your current or future work.

We offer to print your poster if you upload the PDF to this link: ITSS-TSaT 2024 Posters, by July 8th, titled with your name and surname. The posters will not be checked by us, so please ensure that the PDF is formatted correctly.

If the deadline is too tight, you can print the poster yourself. We suggest sending your poster via email to Copy Pro shop and collecting it at Gediminas pr. 33. Please check the working hours for Sunday.
